Our Team

Claire joined Equality Now in 2010. Previously, she worked for the Press Association—the national news agency of the United Kingdom. She holds a M.A. in French studies from Manchester University and a B.A. in Media Studies from Liverpool John Moores University in the UK.

Claire believes that we cannot wait any longer for worldwide gender equality. Good laws are the first step to protect women from discrimination and allow them to improve their life. Claire’s favorite quote is by Simone de Beauvoir: «Changez votre vie aujourd’hui. Ne pariez pas sur l’avenir, agissez maintenant, sans délai. » (Change your life today. Do not bet on the future, act now, without delay.).

When she is not managing the office, Claire enjoys reading, traveling, and cooking (well, mainly eating).
