Pre-Session Report on Palestine for Consideration During the 68th Session of United Nation Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women
This joint report deals with our concerns regarding:
- the discriminatory legislation related to family status laws, focusing on how Palestinian women's rights are violated in relation to CEDAW Article 16; and
- Penal Law issues and Gender-Based Violence in relation to CEDAW General Recommendations (19) and (35).
The Committee referenced this submission in their Concluding Observations.
