Understanding the Dimensions of Human Trafficking: A Primer for Judges and Legal Professionals

Trafficking Program Officer Melina Lito joins six anti-trafficking advocates to present insights on human trafficking and its many dimensions. The discussion will cover the international, federal, and state law and policy responses to human trafficking, the impact of trafficking on particular populations, the services and benefits available to victims of human trafficking, and how judges and legal professionals can address anti-trafficking efforts in their day-to-day practice.

The Overcoming Gender Obstacles Panel aims to discuss the problems cisgender women and genderqueer people face in all aspects of life. Topics range from gender-related obstacles in the workplace to gender expression. Panelists will draw on their expertise and interact with the audience in order to include as many perspectives as possible.

Discrimination in Law Workshop: Nationality
