Wearing your feminism on your sleeve

Bluebella is a brand born out of the belief that lingerie has for too long been viewed as a product worn by women, for men. If the thing we wear closest to our skin is for someone else and not ourselves – what does that tell us about our bodies? We are a team and brand dedicated to empowering and celebrating all women. Gender equality is at the beating heart of everything we do. - Emily Bendell, CEO & Founder, Bluebella

Bluebella will be donating $5 from every order made on 8th March to Equality Now.

Moxie Chic

For International Women’s Day Moxie Chic are running a t-shirt design contest, asking girls 5 to 30 years old to use their imaginations, put pen to paper and create art reflecting gender issues they want to challenge and change.  The winning design will be converted to a t-shirt and sold on www.moxie-chic.com, with 100% of profits for sales of the design until May 1, 2021 donated to Equality Now.

No Nonsense

The No nonsense brand was born over 50 years ago providing hosiery to pioneering career women who challenged the status quo. Sarah Michelle Co.

For International Women's Day, Sarah Michelle Co. has released a tee honoring "all the mad women, the women who have become our icons, the women who have fought for us, and the characters who have inspired us."

I am supporting IWD because without women not only would I not be here, but I also wouldn't be able to run my awesome small business. I am endlessly inspired by all the women in my life, and consistently grateful for those who have come before and fought for our rights. Though the fight continues, we have come a long way, and I want to celebrate that while also working towards our future goals. - Sarah Wilczek, founder, Sarah Michelle Co.

30% of proceeds of sales of the Mad Women Tee will be donated to Equality Now.

Zyphr is high-performance sportswear brand from Hong Kong that specializes in high-performance fabrics to enhance athletes' performance in training.

Equality is a basic human right that should not be represented by your gender, race, sexuality or nationality. Every woman in the world should be given the ability to express who they are, and to reach their full potential from the moment they are born. Gender inequality matters dearly to us because this issue can happen to any of our friends, family, colleagues and customers from different walks of life.
Change starts from us doing our part and educating those who may not be aware of gender inequality and IWD. We hope by partnering with Equality Now, we can do our small part in impacting our community and creating voice for our women in the world to be treated equally and given the same opportunity to achieve their dreams in life. -
Jason Yau, Founder of Zyphr

In the months of March and April, 10% of all Zyphr's online sales will support Equality Now.

Feminism in the home

Brooklyn Candle Studio

Gender equality is a fundamental human right. At Brooklyn Candle Studio, we strive to create more opportunities for women within the manufacturing and shipping industries - currently, 75% of our leadership team is female! - Lillian Beitzel, Director of Sales, Brooklyn Candle Studio

Ten percent of proceeds from every candle sold from Brooklyn Candle Studio's collaboration with Allison Kunath are donated to women's rights organizations, including Equality Now.

Hygge and West

As two former lawyers who now run a small women-owned and -operated company, we've witnessed firsthand the importance of gender equality across all facets of life. This fundamental human right has far-reaching and profound effects; not only do women need a voice, but also laws and infrastructure that support that voice and uphold it as worthy and equal in every sense of the word. From uneven access to economic opportunities to domestic abuse to unequal pay, gender gaps are real, they are hobbling, and they will always stand in the way of society functioning at its healthiest self. - Christiana Coop & Aimee Lagos, Hygge and West

The female-founded design wallpaper company will be donating a share of sales on March 8 to Equality Now.

I have always fought to be an independent woman and when I started Janolo, it felt right to support Equality Now in their journey. We chose them as our charity partner because we believe that legal equality is the first step for little girls to become financially and emotionally independent. We are a group of women artists that come from all over the world (Portugal, Hanoi, London…), with different backgrounds, educations & cultures. Most of the drawings are inspired by women's faces, emotions, and figures. - Jenna O’Connor, Founder, Janolo

Fighting taboos is the very reason myATTTD exists. And when it comes to gender equality, we believe the 1st step towards change is to break the taboo and speak-up. That’s why we have decided, on International Women’s day, to use our voice to stand up for women’s rights, and for a more equal world.

The online intimate skincare and deodorant brand will be encouraging their community of followers and influencers to share the taboos women are facing and how to overcome them and will be donating €1 for every woman box sold for the month of March
