Kenneth Franzblau

Kenneth Franzblau currently serves as Director of the Equality Now Trafficking program and was formerly the organization’s liaison to the United Nations Human Rights Committee. Prior to joining Equality Now, he served as the Director of Human Trafficking Prevention and Training with the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services. Mr. Franzblau consults regularly with criminal justice agencies concerning sex tourism and human trafficking and works with non-governmental organizations seeking passage of state statutes on those issues. He has conducted investigations of numerous sex tour companies including those that resulted in the first indictment and convictions of sex tour operators for violating state promoting prostitution statutes. Mr. Franzblau has been recognized by the New York Attorney General for his ‘Partnership with Law Enforcement’ for his investigation of Big Apple Oriental Tours. He holds a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and M.A. and B.A. degrees from George Washington University.
