Antonia Kirkland

Antonia Kirkland has been the Legal Advisor in the New York office of Equality Now since 2009. She began her work with Equality Now first as an intern in 1996-97 and then as a Program Officer in 2002. Prior to 2002, she was the coordinator of the Next Generation Leadership program at the Rockefeller Foundation, a consultant for Equality Now on an amicus brief for a case before the United States Supreme Court in 2000-01, and an intern in the Paris office of Shearman and Sterling, LLP. Ms. Kirkland holds a J.D. from Rutgers University Law School - Newark, a M.Sc. in Gender Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a B.A. in International Relations from Brown University.
