Equality Now, an international human rights organization dedicated to ending violence and discrimination against women, is seeking to recruit a Database Manager who will be responsible for supervising the management of the Raiser’s Edge database and coordinating Salsa, our website’s data collection service.
Responsibilities:
Raiser’s Edge Database Management responsibilities include:
- Performing data and gift entry, including generation of acknowledgments;
- Running queries, exports and developing custom reports;
- Generating mailing lists for membership and donor mailings;
- Coordinating and overseeing database cleanup efforts – standardizing records, establishing protocols for data entry, etc.
Website & Email Marketing responsibilities include:
- Managing Salsa (Democracy in Action) account, which includes maintaining and setting up donation and sign-up forms, storefront, as well as exporting/syncing supporter data between Salsa and Raiser’s Edge;
- Generating financial reports from First Data (merchant processing service).
Requirements:
Candidate must have at least two years relevant experience, including:
- Adept in Raiser’s Edge management;
- Ability to import/export to and from Raiser's Edge;
- Background in creating macros with Access and Excel;
- Microsoft Office Suite, especially Access, Excel and mail merge functions;
- Basic knowledge of the SQL query language;
- Crystal Reports experience a plus;
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage several projects and timelines while maintaining a detail-oriented approach;
- Familiarity with web development practices and procedures;
- Exceptional problem-solving skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with HTML and CSS;CMS and CRM platforms (especially Drupal and Salsa) not required but helpful;
Proficiency or fluency in one other language is a plus, preferably French, Arabic, or Spanish.
Salary:
Part-time salary is prorated based on a full-time salary range of 38-42K; pro-rated benefit package is also provided
