Equality Now & SWAN submission to UN HRC on sexual assault in the U.S. military

The United States is up for review in 2013 by the UN Human Rights Committee that monitors the civil and political rights treaty; among other issues, the Committee will review the United States’ efforts to address gender-based violence. Equality Now and our partner, the Service Women’s Action Network (SWAN) submitted information (pdf) on sexual assault in the U.S. military for the Committee to review.
