to win a walk-on role on “The L
Word®”! Equality Now is auctioning a walk-on role on“The L Word®.” The winner will get a behind-the-scenes look at how one of television's hottest series gets filmed, meet some of the actors, tour the production facility, and eat lunch with the cast and crew. . The available dates of the walk-on are September 15–30, 2008, in Vancouver, Canada. The exact dates will be announced to the winner. Winner must contact Equality Now by September 12, 2008 to finalize dates. Winner must be available in Vancouver for a minimum of 2-3 weekdays. Winner may bring one guest. The guest is only allowed to visit the set and will not participate in the walk-on experience. Winner is required to be at least 21 years of age, and the guest must be 18 years old unless s/he is the child of the winner, in which case the parent/legal guardian is required to sign a Guest Liability and Publicity Release on behalf of the minor. Winner and guest will need valid passports to enter Canada. Neither Showtime Networks Inc., Equality Now or their parents, affiliates, successors, licensees or assignees are responsible for airfare, hotel, transfers, or any other expenses for Winner or guest. Winner is solely responsible for all of his or her costs related to this trip. 100% of the proceeds from this auction (a tax-deductible contribution, minus any eBay or PayPal fees) will benefit Equality Now, an international human rights organization that works to end violence and discrimination against women and girls around the world. Winner and guest must agree and sign the Liability and Publicity Releases and FAX them to The L Word Production office prior to arrival on set. Winner and guest are also requested to bring a copy of the Releases with them to Vancouver. Bidding begins on September 9, 2008 and ends on September 12, 2008.
